   i enjoy the show and think that must of the time you all do a great job. However, i’m going to Idol a rest. it’s turned into a soap opera. I do not like soap operas. Why would you cut Jamar Rogers??? i don’t get it? just to include some clowns.

   I LOVE Allison Iraheta! I don’t care what the judges had to say to her rendition of “Cry Baby” because as the #1 Janis Joplin fan for 40 years I say she did an excellent job and I will be buying Allison Iraheta’s music! She’s a natural talent and to be so young she is amazing.
   I have to say hats off to American Idol this season because this is the best talent they have ever found. These young people are fantastic!!
   I just wish Alexis Grace could have stayed around longer. I love her soulful voice.

   Kris Allen is and has continually proven to be a consistant and professional artist who si very coll and not into himself theough encouraged by the judges to have more confidence. He sings with perfect piutch, style that is suited to him, and feelings that run deep in his very young life. To me he is the real star, reminds me of a John Mayer who you could listend to for hours. One of the few I would not hesitatate to buy all his records cause you can listen to them anywhere anytime. The sign of a real pro, Great Job Kris Allen……….Dave

   Kris,
   I didn’t begin watching this season of Ameican Idol until the “Rat Pack” night. I didn’t know at the time you were also from Conway! You melted my heart at every performance. You are such a welll rounded young man. You have a confidence and control rarely seen in someone your age. You stand out in a crowd of performers, and don’t have to scream, wear eye makeup, black nails or act cocky to get noticed attention. The way you dress and speak comes across as the “sweet boy next door!” that everyone enjoys being around. I admire the fact you stand up for your beliefs and family values. That is a rare quality in a young man of your generation. It all goes back to good parenting! While watching the video of your trip home, I kept looking at your Mom thinking “I know her.” Then when they had the camera on your family it finally clicked! I worked with your Mom at RRMC. She was my replacement when I moved on to another employer. I had met your Dad also. Now I definitely know where you get not just your looks, your intelligence and determination. (Did I mention I know your Mother! Ha! Ha!). I know they are extremely proud of you as an parent would be.
   You keep singing the way you have on Idol. That style of music is very suited for you, and you deliver it superbly. No matter who comes out in first place, all of us in Conway (and the rest of Arkansas) know who is the #1 AMERICAN IDOL!!! We’ll be waiting in line at Hastings to buy your CD’s!

   I know it’s too late to congratulate you. It’s been how many months since you won American Idol. the first time I saw you perform o that stage..oh my gosh..I really rooted for you! We were really jumping whe you were announced as the winner. We are so proud to be your “fans”! I love your every performance.
