I was really p.o.’d when Anoop didn’t make the first cut, then appeared to not make the Top 12 as a wild-card, but have been really psyched since they made it a Top 13. I wish he had a bit more fan support, since he always seems to be at risk of elimination, but I think he’s got a great voice, a likeability and it doesn’t hurt that he’s a cute guy. Best of luck to him, and good on Idol for keeping the franchise from feeling stale.
