What an absolutely bizarre individual this woman was. Something about her sought of reminded me of the late Wesley Willis.

I love Akilah so much. She’s so funny that I have to watch her audition at least once each day!
I would do anything to meet her, and she can actually sing pretty good! She really should have gotten another chance, as she begged, “See, Simon why do you do that? Please don’t.” (One of my favorite parts!)
She’s so hilarious, that even if she didn’t become famous for her voice, she would definitely become famous for her humour! I can’t stop laughing at soooo many parts of the only 6 minute clip on her, and at this point would do absolutely ANYTHING to meet her! She’s truly one of a kind!

Akilah Askew Gholston was so serious about her singing she held her head on strong thats such a great reason why iwanted to see her again on furture shows felling her personality was the reason as well as her voice beatiful espically the round with the tainers of professional she would have made the show well good luck Mrs. askew gholston” god Bless” you Mary.
